1. Zero Login / Frictionless Architecture
SavingPals is a free, no-login platform. You can access all our tax optimizers, calculators, and rate trackers without creating an account, registering, or providing any personal information.
2. Data We Collect
We only collect information that you explicitly submit to us:
- Email Address: If you sign up for newsletter digests, fixed deposit rate change alerts, or request a summary copy of your 80C tax plan, we collect your email address.
- 80C Tax Plan Details: When you request an emailed 80C tax plan, we may store the email address and calculator inputs/results needed to generate that summary, such as income/CTC, selected tax regime, existing 80C investments, estimated 80C gap, and timestamp.
- Preferences: When you set FD rate alerts, we save the specific list of bank names you want us to monitor for changes.
3. How We Store Your Data
Our backend database is managed via Supabase and hosted securely in the Singapore Region for high availability and data residency compliance. We do not collect or store PAN cards, bank account numbers, Aadhaar numbers, tax portal credentials, passwords, payslips, or other sensitive financial documents.
4. Email & Marketing Communications
We use Resend to send transaction emails (like your 80C summary) and system notifications. You can unsubscribe from rate alerts or newsletter digests at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link present at the bottom of every email we send.
5. Third Party Advertising & Cookies
We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements when you visit our website. Google may use cookies to serve personalized advertisements based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
